and Topps did right by collectors for once in including these, albeit at a relatively tough 1:31 hobby packs.
This Blowout thread includes some nice pics of a few versions one collector pulled, but just in case something happens to that thread, I'm including one example here:

Head over to CardboardConnection for the complete 15-card checklist, which oddly includes just five Yankees.
While I won't be busting any packs or boxes of this as usual, I'm excited enough about some of the Fan Favorites autos and Gallery of Heroes cards (especially Ripken and Cabrera) to try to pick up a few. Congratulation, Topps, on getting one right!
Dang, that's nice. I won't be busting any either, but I love the gallery cards. I'm still trying to complete the old sets of these, and now there's more!
ReplyDeleteThat's right, you're a big fan of somewhat older shiny inserts! Yeah, throw more on the pile, but they should be fun to collect, and hopefully the rip & flippers just see them as junk inserts and dump them for cheap.
DeleteLove the acetate/stained glass looking cards. As for the Triumverate... I'll probably pick up the Padres & A's singles and put them together.
ReplyDeleteYeah, they just look amazing. Should be fun putting together those trios too!
Deletei am pretty happy about these as well (hello, sandy!) plus davey lopes on the 1976 design!
ReplyDeleteI bet the Koufax will be the most popular one in blogoland!
DeleteThese look awesome. Pretty excited to get my paws on a few.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I hope they don't prove too difficult (especially expensive) to acquire.
