Feeling Rich anyway

No thanks to a pathetic Dodgers offense (seriously, this is the game your bats had to go silent?) and a brutal error by 3B Logan Forsythe, blog #1 favorite of all-time ever Rich Hill threw nine no-hit innings before cruelly losing on a Josh Harrison walk-off homer in the 10th.  Kudos to the former Wolverine for an otherwise historic performance.

    Holy cow that's a nice collection! I'd be angry at the Dodgers lineup too...it's not like they're 50+ games over .500 or anything :;eyeroll:;

      Thanks! And they hadn't been shut out in a while, so they just had to pick the best time to let their teammate down. 0-9 with RiSP? BOOOOOOO!

    That was one of the craziest games I've ever watched. Freaking Forsythe booting that ball pissed me off. Of course I always want the Pirates to win, but I wanted Hill to carry the perfect game into the 10th

    These were the Dodgers that I've known for so long in which their favorite game is: can we get the RISP into double digits without scoring?" Sigh.

    Harrison's HR was the third most impressive thing in that game, behind Hill's outing and Utley's catch.

      Maybe even fourth since the Pirates' starter had a nice game himself. You're definitely right about the Utley play! It's just so crazy to me that out of the blue the Dodgers couldn't score one. Freaking. Run.
