2014 eBay purchases: F$!k yeah Friday! OR A Very Brady Christmas

I already posted this over at TMM tonight since it belongs there, but this is a pickup that's too crazy awesome not to share.  I am a non-zero percentage excited about owning the following trading card:
Tom Brady 2000 Fleer Tradition Autographics auto

That's right--I exchanged money for this card, and now this card is in my possession.  And it's signed by future-HOFer and three-time Super Bowl champ Tom Brady.  And it's on card and he's in his Michigan uniform.  And it's autographed.  And it's Tom Brady.  F$!K YEAH!

I don't anticipate topping this pickup for a while, but that doesn't mean I won't try.  I hope everyone else remembers to treat themselves to a most wanted card this holiday season too!

    1. Wow, seriously? When was that? Before or after he blew up, and what did you do with it?

    2. He was in the process of blowing up. I believe it was a rather involved trade with a friend of mine for a lot of Pirates stuff and a UD authenticated Tony Gwynn jersey that hangs in my basement. I could be wrong though since this trade took place a long time a go.

    3. Ok, so you might have come out all right anyway, even if it would be nice to still have the Brady.

    4. I'm sure I still took a loss on the deal considering that he never signs anymore. I have a handful cards in my life that I wish I would have held onto and that is one.

    5. He's got a few others out there, though those are way more expensive, I guess, and it was always gonna be this one or none for me. It's still not too late to grab one again!

    6. I've went back and picked up some old autos that I got rid of back in the day, but Brady is pretty expensive. If I thought about getting one I would probably talk myself out of it to get something that fits my collection a little better. I would like to have one though.......

    7. As much as you spend on guys like Cutch you could probably save up!

    8. You are right...It would probably have to be a purchase at a show though. Impulse buy!

  2. Sweet! Congratulations on this awesome purchase. Happy holidays! Oh... and thank you for the box of cards. I received it last week and haven't opened it up. I figured I'd save it for either Christmas Eve or Christmas.

I'll make sure to ship you some Tigers and possibly some Red Wings for your collection after the holidays (sorry... but I just can't bear to deal with my local post office during the holiday season). Thanks again Dennis!

    1. Thanks, Fuji! I hope you enjoy the box, and there's a bunch of your students' teams in there too. No rush sending anything back either.
