Dustin off the wantlist thanks to a Coot Veal trade package!

Because I had a bunch of extra Tigers and other stuff he also collects, Dustin over at Coot Veal and the Vealtones and I made another one of those mutually beneficial trades that everyone loves.  We really do collect a lot of the same stuff due to the fact that we both go for Tigers and Cal Ripken stuff.  What really prompted this deal for me, though, was the fact that he had a good number of cards from a couple of my set wantlists:
In all he sent me 44 of the 2002 Topps Total cards I needed (some favorites are above) plus a couple 2010 Bowman Chrome Prospects.  Dustin did manage to touch a bunch of my other wantlists, though:
Tigers, new and old
 Too many Grandersons!
Too many Verlanders!
Dustin didn't forget a few of the other players I collect, though, including the Madduxes above, plus
 Griffey and
a bunch of Ripkens!  He actually sent even more Cals, but in the interest of making everything nice one-page scans, I went with these nine.

I'd like to extend a big thanks to Dustin for all the wantlist help and for making this a really easy trade.  Even better, he contributed to one of the best trade package weeks of my brief blogging career.  If you haven't yet, get your ass over to Coot Veal and the Vealtones for some quality Tigers and sports card blogging!

(Please check out the rest of this trade package over at Too Many Manninghams!)

  1. That Fred guy is a Total Bastardo. Glad you liked everything. It was a great trade, man.

    1. I've been working on a few 2002 sets lately so I've had more than my fair share of Bastardos! Thanks again to you too for an awesome deal, let's do it again soon.
